Refunds
Who refunds you, how fast, how you confirm it, and what the bond guarantees.
When you’re owed a refund
- You paid more than the order (the difference).
- You paid twice with the same memo (the second payment).
- You paid after the reservation expired and the order couldn’t be completed.
- An underpaid order wasn’t topped up in time, or a reviewed payment was rejected (everything you paid).
- You paid a creator who had no order for you (the whole payment).
How a refund reaches you
Your money went directly to the creator, so the creator refunds you, in X Money. Their watcher shows them the exact amount and a note to send, and the refund is due within 3 days.
Confirming or disputing
When the creator reports the refund as sent, it appears in Orders with two buttons: I got it and It never arrived. If you don’t answer within 7 days, the refund counts as received. If it never arrived, our team looks at the case and can pay you from the creator’s bond.
The bond guarantee
Every creator holds a refund bond before they can sell. If a refund isn’t sent within 3 days, it’s paid from that bond and the creator’s checkout pauses. A creator with 2 open disputes is paused too. The full rules are in the refund policy.
During the private beta our team records creators’ bonds and handles bond payouts.
