Quickstart: creators
Go from sign-in to a live drop: seller account, watcher, bond, drop.
What you need
- An X account with X Money — collectors pay you here, directly.
- Chrome on a computer you can leave running while your drop is live (for the watcher).
- An EVM wallet you control. It will own your collection contract and holds your refund bond.
- Artwork — one image, or nothing at all for a generative drop.
Private beta. Drops currently mint on Base Sepolia, a test network, for invited creators. Everything described here works the same way it will on Base.
Six steps
Become a seller
Sign in with X, open the Studio and create your seller account. Your payout handle is your own @handle. More
Install and pair the watcher
Install the extension, get an 8-character pairing code in Studio → Watchers and enter it in the extension. Keep an x.com tab with X Money open. More
Post your refund bond
$50 or 10× your median price, whichever is higher. It only pays buyers if you don’t refund them yourself. More
Create the drop
Upload artwork or pick a generative style, set price, duration, edition and delivery, and enter your wallet as contract owner. More
Wait for the contract
We deploy your own collection contract, usually within a minute. The drop page shows “being prepared” until then.
Share it
Post the drop link. Payments, matching, minting and refund reminders run on their own; Studio shows everything as it happens. More
Keep the watcher running. If it goes silent for 90 seconds, your checkout pauses automatically so nobody pays into a dead end. It resumes as soon as the watcher is back.
