FAQ

Short answers to common questions.

Collectors

Do I need a crypto wallet?

You need a wallet address to receive the NFT. You don’t connect the wallet, sign anything or pay gas.

Can I pay with a card or crypto?

No — X Money is the only way to pay.

Can I buy for someone else?

Yes. Paste their wallet address at checkout and the piece goes straight to them.

How long does delivery take?

Usually minutes. Pre-orders mint when the window closes; larger first purchases can take longer (reviewed, or held 24 hours above $1,000).

I forgot the memo. What now?

Nothing, usually. Your X handle and the exact amount identify the order. If not, the creator reviews it.

I closed the checkout.

The reservation stays for 30 minutes. Find it in Orders. Paid after it expired? Within 2 hours it still completes if the edition is available.

Who sends my refund?

The creator — they received your money. We remind them, ask you to confirm, and pay you from their bond if they don’t.

Can xnft.money see or move my X Money?

No. We never access your X Money account.

Is xnft.money part of X?

No. It’s an independent marketplace, not affiliated with X Corp.

Creators

When do I get paid?

Instantly — collectors pay your X Money directly. There’s nothing to withdraw from us.

Do I need to be online?

Your watcher does. If it’s silent for 90 seconds, checkout pauses until it’s back.

Can the watcher spend my money?

No. It’s read-only: it never sends money or clicks anything.

Why do I need a bond?

Collectors pay you directly, so refunds are yours to send. The bond guarantees them to collectors.

Who owns my contract?

You do. Our relayer only has a minter role, and you can revoke it.

What does it cost?

0% per delivered order, taken from your prepaid credit. Gas is on us.

Can I sell pieces I already own?

Pieces from collections created on xnft.money, yes — through the escrow vault. Collections from elsewhere aren’t supported yet.

What if I change my X handle?

Your payout handle and open orders follow the new name automatically.
