How it works
Checkout in three taps, and what happens behind each one.
1 · Get a memo code
Sign in with X, pick a piece and paste the wallet it should land in. We reserve the piece for 30 minutes and give you a memo code like XN-7F3K-Q9X. The last character is a checksum, so a typo is caught instead of matching the wrong order.
2 · Send with X Money
Pay the creator's @handle the exact amount shown and paste the memo. If you already have an open order with the same creator at the same price, the new one costs a cent more — that makes the amount itself unique to your order.
3 · It lands on-chain
The creator's watcher reports the payment, signed with a key that never leaves their device. We release only when at least two of the three keys agree — who paid, how much, the memo — and nothing conflicts. Anything ambiguous goes to review and the piece stays locked. Mints are batched every few seconds; the tx ID of your payment seeds the art, so no one can pick a favourable outcome.
If something goes wrong
- Forgot the memo? Your @handle and the amount usually match the order anyway.
- Paid too little? You get a link to send the rest; if it doesn't arrive in 2 hours, you're refunded.
- Paid too much, twice, or too late? The creator refunds you within 72 hours — or their refund bond pays you.
